Winter Wonderland

Here's a fun little card...maybe you've got a scene like this out your window now or are hoping for a scene like this in time for Christmas??  I wouldn't mind a bit of snow but it will be in the 70s in Richmond this weekend!  What??  I know it's December isn't it??  I'm thinking it won't be a white Christmas here.

We did this one at my last stamp club of 2013.  It's a fun bit of emboss resist (heat emboss and then brayer ink over the image).

I've been partial to using the Gorgeous Grunge splatter stamp as snow lately and here we have it again.  How cool does that look with the Lovely As A Tree trees?  We used a little sticky note circle for the moon before we brayered over the embossing.

A simple fork bow and some roughed up edges finish this card off.

Thanks for looking!  Did you stamp today?

  1. Very pretty! The grey is so gorgeous, especially with the pop of color of your ribbon!
